Hi! My name is Hanna (she/her), and I am a queer-identifying, first-generation Palestinian-Spanish Canadian Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying).

I have a Bachelor of Arts (Hons.) in Forensic Psychology and Human Rights Law, and I hold a graduate certificate in Forensic Practice. I am currently completing my Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology. As you can tell, I have a passion for learning and growing, something I firmly believe we should never stop doing!

Over the last six years, my work has focused on supporting the neurodivergent community and advocating for those in need. My passion has always been rooted in helping others, so naturally, I drifted into the realm of psychotherapy.  

I utilize an integrative approach incorporating elements from Person-Centered Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Therapy, Somatic Experiencing Therapy, and Narrative Therapy. I believe in using a trauma-informed and holistic approach to healing.

Therapy can be scary, so creating a space where my clients feel safe, seen, and heard is important to me. In creating this space, I aim to be culturally sensitive, gender-affirming, inclusive, and anti-oppressive.

When I’m not working or studying, you’ll find me spending time with my family, partner, Lab-Retriever Rocket, and her many foster siblings. Taking a step back and enjoying quality time with the people I love is one way I recharge. I also indulge in music either through my vinyl collection or concerts, along with poetry, and hiking with my dog! Self-care is a core value in my life, and I encourage my clients to find the small, peaceful joys in their lives, too.

One of my favourite quotes by Andrea Gibson is, “The only way to survive is to breathe deep and dive.”  I often reflect on this quote when I am navigating changes in my life. To me, it embodies embracing your journey.
